The role of the Group Accounting Consultant at Tiego includes tasks such as:

Participating in workshop, implementation, and outsourcing projects with our clients.

Assisting clients with group reporting and system issues, particularly related to implementation and closing.

Participating in training and sales presentations.

Participating in further education to stay updated on current and upcoming accounting standards.

What's unique about the job with us is that you quickly get to work on implementations with new clients under the guidance of experienced colleagues and also collaborate with our developers in taking our systems to the next level with even smarter solutions. In addition, there are opportunities for more outsourcing assignments where we act as the client's group economist.

Tiego has been developing systems for over 10 years, but there are always areas that need improvement based on our own or our clients' creative suggestions. At our company, economists and developers work in the same environment and develop systems and competencies in both directions.

Who we think you are

We are now looking for two new group accounting consultants - one who has about a year left of their education and one who has worked a few years with group accounting or ongoing accounting. To thrive with us, you should have an interest in accounting, group accounting, and system solutions.

We believe that you enjoy working in a varied environment with challenges in different industries. Development and new knowledge are important to you, and you have a desire to succeed.

We offer a workplace where you get to work as a group accounting consultant with clients while also being involved in developing our system solutions. You will quickly participate in workshops and system implementations with interesting listed companies, privately owned groups, and venture capital companies.

You are also offered the opportunity to further educate yourself in accounting, primarily group accounting, K3 and IFRS regulations, but also other areas that you find interesting and add value to Tiego.

Company presentation

Our solution for group reporting is to work with loaded transactions to monthly balances, not accumulated balances like most other systems. In addition, users update with what is missing to be able to produce automatic indirect cash flow analyses. Half of our approximately 80 customers are listed companies, but all have high ambitions for efficiency in their financial statements. The process for working is intuitive, and we recommend a delegated working method, but there are customers who also choose to centralize.

We at Tiego are passionate about group reporting and everything else that is part of a group accountant's job duties. In recent years, we have also focused on the challenges posed by the adoption of IFRS 16, something that we intend to continue with in the coming years.

We are 15 employees and have a turnover of approximately 18 million.
